TERMS AND POLICIES

These are the terms every Rise of the 100 entrant and DanFX member agrees to. You accept them when you tick the terms box and send your entry, or when you buy any DanFX product. DanFX provides trading education only. Nothing here or in the challenge is financial advice.

Version 2026-10-19. If these terms change, the new version and its date appear here, and entrants are told by email at least 7 days before changes take effect.

1. Competition Rules: Rise of the 100, Season 01

1.1 Promoter

The competition is run by [DanFX legal entity name], registration number [number], [physical address], Management@danfx.africa ("the Promoter"). Prize sponsor: [prop firm name, once signed]. The Promoter remains responsible for these rules.

1.3 Who can enter

Anyone aged 18 or older who:

• holds an XM account registered under DanFX partner code RRPXP;
• opens a new XM MT5 demo account with a starting balance of exactly USD 10,000;
• links that demo account to a public Myfxbook profile using the investor (read-only) password;
• declares in the registration form that they are not yet consistently profitable (losing, around break-even, or a total beginner) and explains why they want to join.

Entry is free. You do not need to buy the Master Key or any other product to enter or win. The Master Key is strongly recommended for serious entrants, but it does not affect ranking or eligibility.

These people may not win a prize: directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of the Promoter or the prize sponsor; anyone who supplied goods or services for this competition; and their spouses, life partners, business partners and immediate family. Dan trades alongside entrants as the pace setter; he is not ranked and cannot win.

The competition is limited to 100 approved entrants. The Promoter may reject an entry that does not meet these rules. A false declaration leads to disqualification at any time, including after results are announced.

1.4 How to enter

1. Open or move an XM account under partner code RRPXP.
2. Open the XM MT5 demo account described above.
3. Link it to Myfxbook and make the profile public.
4. Forge your hero, accept these terms and complete the registration form at challenge.danfx.africa before the closing date.
5. Wait for your seat confirmation by email.

1.5 Trading rules

• Instruments: forex pairs, gold and indices only. No crypto.
• No copy-trading, signal services, trade-copying software, account sharing or anyone else trading your account.
• Daily loss limit: if equity falls 5% or more below the day's starting balance (00:00 SAST), you are knocked out.
• Maximum drawdown: if equity falls below USD 9,000 at any time, you are knocked out.
• News: no open trades from 15 minutes before to 15 minutes after a high-impact news release. On Storm Days (US jobs report, about 15:30 SAST) that window is 15:15 to 15:45 SAST.
• Festive break: no trading from 20 December 2026 to 5 January 2027. Trades in the break count as a rule breach.
• No deposits, withdrawals or balance resets on the competition account.
• Knocked-out entrants stay on the leaderboard marked as knocked out and cannot win a prize.

1.6 How winners are decided

Ranking is by percentage return on the competition account at the end of the competition period, as recorded on Myfxbook. Ties go to the entrant with the lower maximum drawdown. The Promoter verifies the top results against Myfxbook and the XM account history, and an independent [accountant / attorney] oversees and certifies the result. The certified decision is final.

1.7 Prizes

A 2-step challenge is an evaluation account: the winner must pass both steps under the prop firm's own rules before being funded, and passing is not guaranteed. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If the sponsor cannot supply a prize, the Promoter replaces it with one of equal or greater value. Badges on the challenge page (such as First Blues, Storm Shelter, Risk Guardian and Sidekick) are recognition only.

1.8 Winners and claiming prizes

Winners are announced on the challenge page, in the Dan Gang Discord and on DanFX social channels, and contacted by email. A winner who does not respond within 14 days forfeits the prize to the next eligible entrant. Before receiving a prize, a winner gives their full name and ID number and signs a declaration that they are not connected to the Promoter or sponsor. Winners may decline to appear in DanFX marketing without affecting their prize.

1.9 General

The Promoter keeps these rules, the entrant and winner lists and the selection records for at least 3 years. These rules are available free on request from Management@danfx.africa. The Promoter may change or cancel the competition only if events outside its control make it impossible to run fairly, and will tell entrants promptly. This is a demo-account competition: results are simulated and do not show what would happen with real money. Nothing in this competition is financial advice. South African law governs these rules.

2. Member Agreement and Risk Disclosure

You accept this agreement when you register for Rise of the 100 or buy any DanFX product. Access to the Dan Gang Discord, the live trading room and the DanFX TradeStation is granted only on these terms.

2.1 Who can join

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement. You confirm the details you give us are true and belong to you.

2.2 What you get

Depending on what you bought: access to the Dan Gang Discord, live trading sessions, the DanFX TradeStation software and licence key, and DanFX educational material such as Your First Playbook and the Journal. All of this is education. It teaches you to read the market, manage risk and use a software tool.

2.3 Not financial advice

DanFX is [not an authorised financial services provider under the FAIS Act]. Nothing DanFX shares in the challenge, Discord, live sessions, videos, software, books or messages is financial advice, a recommendation, a trading signal or an offer to buy or sell any financial product. We do not know your financial situation, goals or risk tolerance, and we do not take them into account. Before making any financial decision, consider getting advice from an authorised financial adviser.

2.4 Risk disclosure

• Trading forex, CFDs, gold and indices is high risk. These products are leveraged, so small market moves can cause large losses.
• You can lose all the money you deposit with a broker, and in some cases more.
• Most retail traders lose money. Check your broker's own risk warning for its published figure.
• Past results, including Dan's, other members' and challenge results, do not predict future results.
• Demo and challenge results are simulated. Live trading includes slippage, spreads, swaps and emotions that a demo account does not.
• Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

2.5 Your responsibility

Rise of the 100 runs on demo accounts so you can learn to read the market without risking real money. The next 3 months are for learning. If you choose to trade a live account, during or after the challenge, you do so at your own risk. You make every trading decision yourself and you take full responsibility for your own money, accounts, trades, profits and losses. You will not hold DanFX, Dan or any moderator or partner responsible for any trading loss. You choose your own broker; DanFX does not open, hold or manage any account or money for you.

2.6 Live sessions

Trades Dan places in a live session are on his own account, shown to demonstrate a process, not for you to copy. Dan will not tell you what to buy or sell, what lot size to use or how much to risk; do not ask for, or rely on, entries as signals. Sessions may be recorded and shared with members, and your username, voice and messages may appear in recordings.

2.7 DanFX TradeStation

TradeStation is a risk management and execution tool for MetaTrader 5. It does not give signals and does not trade by itself. Your licence key covers one trading account for 12 months from first activation and may not be shared, resold or copied. Software can fail because of platform updates, connection problems, broker settings or bugs: test it on a demo account first. DanFX is not responsible for losses caused by software, platform or connection failure.

2.8 No guarantees and limits on liability

DanFX makes no promise that you will become profitable, pass a prop firm challenge or earn any income. To the fullest extent the law allows, DanFX is not liable for any trading loss, lost profit or indirect loss arising from your use of our education, community, sessions or software. If DanFX is found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid DanFX in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot legally be limited, or our liability for gross negligence. You indemnify DanFX against third-party claims arising from your trading, your breach of this agreement or your misuse of DanFX material.

2.9 Partner disclosure

DanFX is an XM partner and may earn commission when you open and trade an XM account under partner code RRPXP. DanFX may also earn commission from prop firms or other partners it mentions. This never changes what we teach.

2.10 Community conduct and content

You will not sell or post signals, promote other paid groups, share paid DanFX content outside the community, ask other members for money, harass anyone or impersonate DanFX. DanFX may remove anyone who breaks these rules, without a refund for the remaining period. All DanFX material, recordings, software, books and branding belong to DanFX and may be used only for your own learning.

2.11 Payments, privacy and general

Payments are processed through Whop. Once your TradeStation licence key has been issued, or your Discord or live-session access has started at your request, the 7-day ECTA cooling-off period does not apply to that part of your purchase. Refunds follow section 4. We handle your personal information as set out in section 3. South African law governs this agreement. We may update it and will tell members at least 7 days before changes take effect. If any clause is found invalid, the rest still applies.

3. Privacy Notice (POPIA)

What we do and don't do

• Your hero name, hero, badges, return and drawdown are shown publicly on the leaderboard. Your real name, email and registration answers are not.
• We never ask for your broker master password. The Myfxbook investor password is read-only.
• We do not sell your information.
• We send marketing only if you opt in, and every message lets you unsubscribe.

Who receives it

Whop (payments and memberships), Discord (community), Myfxbook (performance tracking), Cloudflare (challenge website and registration storage), Resend (email delivery), XM (partner code verification), the prize sponsor (winners only) and the independent person certifying the competition. Some of these process information outside South Africa, under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Competition records for at least 3 years after Season 01 ends, as the CPA requires. Other information while you are a member and for [12] months after, unless the law requires longer.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to its use, by emailing Management@danfx.africa. You can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa if you are unhappy with how we handle it.

4. Refund Policy

By buying, you ask DanFX to deliver your licence key and start your access immediately, and you accept that the 7-day cooling-off right ends once delivery starts. Send refund requests to Management@danfx.africa or through Whop's Resolution Center.
